The latest edition of the Dance24 Podcast is now online and, in a longer than usual show (with almost an extra 10 minutes of music), we've got loads of great summer sounds from Darude, The Hound Dogs, Cassius and more. We're playing summer tracks because the crew at Dance24 are going off for a relaxing two weeks in the sun from this weekend. So no podcasts to look forward to for the next two weeks right? Wrong.

While we're away, you'll be treated to two special Dance24 Summer Mixes. The first of which, available on July 31st, features a wide variety of tracks in the mix from artists such as The Future Sound of London, The Orb and more. The second, available on August 7th, is from the Dance24 archives. Listeners to the previous versions of Dance24 will be familiar with our Live Mix shows, which used to air every Saturday night as part of Dance24's Big Saturday Night (those were the days eh?). So, for the second Summer Mix, we're replaying the Live Mix show from June 10th 2006, which featured tracks from The Shapeshifters, Chocolate Puma, Axwell and more.

These summer mixes will automatically appear on the website and on the RSS feeds at 1am UK time (12am GMT) on the next two Fridays. Check them out, and normal service will be resumed on August 14th. Until then, enjoy the music!

Music to simmer by....

First things first... by god is it hot in the UK at the moment! And frankly, the last thing you probably want is a reason to move your feet and/or most other parts of your body. Well, unfortunately, here at Dance24, it is our job to bring you the best in dance music each and every week, and that's what we've done as this week's show is now available. It features a great Jacksons track to finish, and well as tunes from Strike, ATB, Faithless, N-Trance and many more!

Enjoy the show and the weekend!

Our Tribute to the King of Pop

I'm sure you, like us here at Dance24, were shocked to hear of the death of Michael Jackson yesterday. His music inspired and delighted a generation, and while he may be gone, his music will certainly live on for many years to come. Now, as a dance music podcast, it's difficult to really pay tribute to the man without breaking from our genre. However, this week's Dance24 Podcast, which is now live, does feature two great disco tracks from his 'Off The Wall' album, plus a remix from the 'Blood On The Dancefloor' CD. Along with that, we've got other great music from Paul Van Dyk, Chocolate Puma, Freemasons and more.

Michael Jackson: 1958-2009.

We're back!

...and hopefully sounding good! The Dance24 Podcast is back after it's one week break, and this week we've got loads for you hardcore fans, with loads of trance, rave and UK Garage anthems. Not only that, but Dance24's History of Dance features a disco classic from Van McCoy, and we've got a great track from the forthcoming DJ Hero game. Listen to it on the podcast, or watch it from via the YouTube link in this week's tracklistings. Enjoy the show! (and I hope you didn't miss us too much...)

Taking a break

So you've noticed we've not uploaded a podcast for this week yet... We're taking a break this week, but don't fret - we'll be back with more great music on Friday!

It's Friday, yes it's Friday...

The weekend is upon us again, so how about more sounds of the weekend to keep you going through the weekend and beyond? If that sounds good to you, make sure you grab this week's edition of the Dance24 Podcast! We've got new music from The Prodigy, a classive rave track from Urban Hype in Dance24's History of Dance, as well as a load of great trance from System F, Darude and Southside Spinners, plus loads, loads more.

How do we fit it all in an hour? We're just that good....

Dance24 in the sunshine!

Looking for some summer music to listen to while enjoying the glorious weather we're having in the UK at the moment? Then Dance24 is here to serve with a brand new podcast now live! We've got great tracks from artists such as The Shapeshifters, Black Box, Wildchild, Sundance and more, plus another entry into Dance24's History of Dance with a disco club classic from Luther Vandross.

Enjoy the sunshine and, more importantly (for us anyway) enjoy the show!

No no, no no no no, no no no no, no no...

To most people that 'headline' would make no sense at all. To dance fans, they are immortal words, and you can hear them on this week's Dance24 Podcast which is now live!

Of course, they are lyrics from 2 Unlimited's classic 'No Limit', which closes the show this week. We've also got loads of Todd Edwards productions, classics from Junior Jack and the Shapeshifters, and much more. Download the track now from the links on the right, or from your RSS software. Alternatively, check out many of the tracks on YouTube and Spotify, or buy directly from the iTunes Store. Links are all in the usual places. Enjoy!

And now for something completely random...

We've been hard at work on a brand new feature for the Dance24 website and it's now gone live! The 'Dance24 Video Showcase' box has been replaced by 'Random Trax' where we pick one random song from the tracks we've played on the podcast, then give you links to hear it on that podcast, watch it's video, and, if available, buy from iTunes and listen on Spotify. It's a quick and easy to way to check out the variety of tracks we've played on the podcast and to get access to everything we have for that track.

We hope you like it!

Normal Service Resumed

So we remembered this week....

The latest edition of the Dance24 Podcast is now available, and it's full of good stuff....honest!
